Sitting quietly in the espresso bar, a man in a tallit and tefillin nods and murmurs, sipping coffee between prayers. A latte costs the same as a shared taxi ride. On the slow city local, I am aware that I'm the only man not wearing a hat and jacket, not wearing black and white. A billboard advertises Passover in Bucharest. I can't read the fine print, but I like the price.
